My Story
Ashley is a trained birth doula, childbirth educator, and midwife assistant. She ran a small farm in Boulder, Colorado for 10 years earning her a deeper understanding of holistic practices in wellness. After leaving her business in Colorado she felt a calling to advocate for laboring women. She aims to empower them to embrace physiological birth and to listen to their bodies as they embark on their birthing journey.  Her background in both horticulture and herbalism help with her birthing support practices by getting her clients to ground themselves and connect to the Earth while in labor.
I can not imagine having to have gone through that experience without Ashley, and on such short notice. Thought I had known her less than 24 hours I feel we connected. I am eternally grateful for her by my side, behind me, in my face, encouraging and supporting me in every way you could. With our special circumstances surrounding my husband's disability, she was the rock I needed to help guide me through. To think of the hours and hours she spent with me, someone she barely knew, beginning in the middle of the night when she could have been at home with her own littles. I thank her again and again and again.
